640 THEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT Examine the statements in Holy Scripture which bear on the question of Sin after Baptism What may be learned from the place in which the article on the Sufficiency of the Holy Scriptures stands State fully the difference between the Churches of England and Rome respecting the authority of Holy Scripture and Tradition and justify the position held by our Church Explain the principle on which our Church determines the Canon of Holy Scripture Describe the changes through which the Prayer for the Church Militant has passed into its present form and place and point out the several liturgical acts which it now com- prehends Discuss from the historical point of view the practice of non-communicating attendance Produce evidence of the great antiquity of the Preface and write down the Greek and Latin originals of the words Lift up &c down to our bounden duty Give the titles of the Hymn with which the Preface ends Of what portions of Scripture was it composed Account for the omission of the Hosanna Illustrate from early Christian writers the phrase Prayer of Consecration What differences seem to exist between the Eastern Roman and Anglican conceptions of the means by which the Consecration is effected Compare the commemoration of the Institution as it is found in our Prayer Book with the New Testament narratives and with the corresponding portion of the Sarum Canon What have you to remark as to the place at which 4fraction' occurs in the English Liturgy What other ceremonies have been connected with the Consecration of the Elements and their preparation for Communion
