496 THE SCHOOL Whenever from changing Classes or other cause any book is no longer required it is to be at once returned to the Secretary If book is lost the Pupil is required to apply to the Master of his Class for another copy and is on no account permitted to purchase copy out of the College Duplicate copies will be supplied at three- fourths of the booksellers' original price On leaving College finally all books are to be returned to the Secretary Such as are not returned within one month of the end of Term or when returned are found wilfully damaged or defaced must be paid for at three-fourths of the original bookseller's price XIV RESIDENCE OF BOARDERS Pupils may reside with their parents or friends II The following Assistant Masters take Boarders into their houses Rev Blomfield Jackson of Exeter College Oxford Rothbury House Putney Rothbury House stands just above Putney Station contains large and airy sleeping and class rooms and is within few minutes' walk of Wimbledon and Barnes Commons The situa- tion is very healthy Frequent trains run to and from Waterloo in less than twenty minutes Edward Brooksmith of St John's College Cambridge Senior Mathematical Master of King College School Stone Lodge St John's Kent Stone Lodge is on high ground close to the St John's station of the South Eastern Railway in healthy and bracing position Trains run frequently to Charing Cross and Cannon Street occupying to Cannon Street sixteen minutes Blackheath and Greenwich Park are within ten minutes walk and the Crystal Palace can be reached by train in few minutes
