428 WORKSHOP EVENING CLASSES Practical application of Art and Design The Practice consists of Exercises with individual instruc- tion in Drawing on Wood on Stone on Copper Etching Engraving Drawing and Painting on Porcelain Modelling Designing Wall and Furniture Decorations Details of Deco- rative Construction generally and the general application of Ornament to various materials and manufactures Occasional Lectures are given in the Elementary Division as required on Freehand Drawing and Model Drawing with Illustrations Eegular Lectures are given on Plane Geometry Solid Geometry and Perspective Machine Construction and Building Construction with Illustrations The Year is divided into Terms of about 11 Weeks each Tickets for Single Terms are Is payable at the beginning of each Term The fees for Year are 12s 6cl payable in advance Members of the Class who produce evidence of being eli- gible to rank as Students of the Industrial Classes as defined by the Science and Art Department and who attend regularly will receive back on passing an examination one-third of whatever sum they have paid during the preceding year The Classes are closed during the Months of August and September for Fortnight at Christmas and for few days at Easter or Whitsuntide according to the Season The Science and Art Examinations are in May of each Year III WORKSHOP EVENING CLASSES FOR PRACTICAL INSTRUCTION IN WOOD AND IRON WORK As applied to Building and Engineering Construction The College Workshc will be found to afford every facility for complete course of Engineering work especially
