THEOLOGICAL EVENING CLASSES 393 XVIII The following Classes are held during the Evening but form no part of the regular Evening Class Course THEOLOGICAL EVENING CLASSES With view to meet the requirements of those who desire to enter Holy Orders but are unable for so long period as two years to relinquish professions in which they are already engaged it has been determined with the approval of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York and the Bishops of London Winchester and Rochester to allow portion of the study and training of this Department to be carried out in the Evening Accordingly Courses of Lectures are now given in the Evening on the same subjects and under the direction of the same Professors and Lecturers as in the Morning Classes of the Theological Department viz Dogmatic Theology The Kev The Principal Rev Η Curteis Professor Exegesis of the New Testament Rev Knowling Chaplain Rev Daniell Lecturer Testament Ecclesiastical History Rev Leathes Professor Rev Fuller Professor Rev Hole Lecturer Rev Η Swete Professor Pastoral and Liturgical Theology Rev Shuttleworth tin Vocal Church Music Lecturer Rev McCaul Lecturer rW Monk Mus Professor Frye Ass Dir of Choir Public Reading Rev D'Orsey Professor Students who attend this Evening Course for two years terms and pass the Examinations satisfactorily are then entitled to enter the Morning Classes and at the end of one year's terms further study to present themselves for the Theological Testamur It is to be distinctly understood that this Testamur can in no case be gained without one year terms spent in the Morning Classes
