374 EVENING CLASSES 42 SHORTHAND Day and Hour of Attendance-Wednesday Elementary Class from to Advanced Class from to This Class is intended to impart thorough knowledge ofl Shorthand to the extent of ready corresponding and ver- batim reporting The system taught is Phonography which is based upon the principles of representing spoken sounds by specific signs and like sounds by like signs practical knowledge of this system is easily and rapidly acquired The Class Books are the Phonographic Teacher Manual and Reporter's Companion VI Fees and Regulations as to Admission The following are the Fees for the Winter Session For any Class held for hours in each week witl the exception of Practical Chemistry Practical Metallurgy and Practical Biology 146 per term or £1 4s 6d for the Winter Session if paid in one sum on entrance For any Class held for one hour in each week with the exception of Practical Chemistry Prac- tical Metallurgy and Practical Biology 10s 6d per term or 18s Qd for the Winter Session if paid in one sum on entrance The Divinity מ Class is free to all Students attending any other Class For Practical Chemistry Practical Metallurgy and Practical Biology £1 Is for each term or £1 16s 9d for the Winter Session if paid in one sum on entrance Every Non-Matriculated Student also pays 3s in the Winter Session towards the expenses of keeping up the College Library
