244 medical department II SYLLABUS OF LECTURES Divinity Lectures are delivered every Friday Morning during the Winter Session The subject for the ensuing Session will be "the Christian Creed and its Evidences All Matriculated Students of the First Year are required to attend these Lectures unless exempted by the Principal Attendance after the First Year is optional There are Examinations in the months of December and March on the subjects of these Lectures Certificates of proficiency are given to those who pass these Examinations satisfactoril At the close of the Winter Session Prize is adjudged to the best Student of each year The "Barry" Prize will be awarded to the Matriculated Student who passes the best examination in Divinity irre- spective of the year to which he belongs No one can gain this Prize more than once Anatomy Descriptive and Surgical The lectures on Anatomy are divided into two courses descriptive and elementary course for Junior Students II An advanced course mainly topographical for Senior Students III Special classes in Osteology are also held during the Winter and Summer Sessions
