APPLIED SCIENCES 211 Occasional Students are unable to compete for the ordinary prizes but may be recommended for special prize by the Professor The rule as to inability to compete for an ordinary prize will not apply to Matriculated Students of other Departments except the Evening Classes attending Classes in this Department nor to Student of Junior year of this Department attending any Class of Senior year Any Occasional Student will be allowed to attend the Lectures on Religious Instruction on application to the Principal VI limited number of Students are admitted to reside within the College see page 515 and some of the Gentlemen connected with this Department receive Students into their houses See page 518 VII Dinner is provided in the College Hall every day at Six o'clock for such Students as may wish to avail themselves of that accommodation See page 519 VIII The General Library is open daily to all Students for the purposes of study See Regulations page 514 IV ATHLETIC CLUB The Council have taken large piece of land close to Worm- wood Scrubbs Station as recreation ground for the College and School and an Athletic Club has been formed for the management of it All Matriculated Students joining the College after this date will be members of the Athletic Club and entitled to its privileges Students already Matriculated and all Occasional Students will be admitted on payment of 10s 6d for each Academical Year ο
