208 APPLIED SCIENCES to the places appointed by the Superintendent in clean and uninjured state Students will be charged for any daraagt done or loss sustained VI No fresh materials are to be cut off or used withoui previous application to the Superintendent or Foreman IX No unnecessary noise must be made and playing 01 throwing missiles of any kind is strictly prohibited No sawing or chiselling is allowed upon the Benches except with the use of the Bench-piece provided for that purpose XI Students must be careful in the continual preservation of their own Tools for the good condition of which they are responsible XII All Tool-boxes are to be kept under the Benches as far as space will permit and each Student upon leaving oif work is required to clean down his bench and to leave his tools and the shop in neat and workmanlike order XIII Students are to keep to their own work and not to walk about the Shop so as to be in the way or to hinder other Students when at work XIV Students are not allowed to take away their work until the end of the Term Finished work should be given in charge to the Superintendent or if taken away at Christinas or Easter must be brought back by June 16 with view to the Prize Competition in REGULATIONS RESPECTING STUDENTS The days fixed for the admission of new Students in the Academical Year 1884-85 are Tuesday September 30 Wednesday January 14 and Wednesday April 15 All new Students are examined on their joining this Department in Euclid Books II Arithmetic and Elementary Algebra including Simple Equations with the
