general literature and science 137 University of London -Arrangements are made for the uperintendence of the studies of Students preparing for the Matriculation Intermediate Arts and Examinations Students are requested to confer with Professor Hudson or Ur Gill the Special Tutors II SYLLABUS OF LECTURES ן -Religious Instruction All Matriculated Students must attend the Divinity Lectures unless exempted by the Principal The Lectures are delivered every Wednesday Afternoon uring the Academical Year by the Principal and the Chap- lain The subject of the Principal's Lectures duriug the ensuing year will be the Christian Creed and its Evidences The Chaplain will lecture on the Acts of the Apostles There are terminal examinations in the subjects treated in the Lectures Marks are given to the papers at these examinations and the Students are classed at the close of each Term At the end of the Academical Year Prizes are adjudged to the best Students in each year No Student can take prize more than twice Any Student meriting prize third time will receive Certificate of Honor The Barry Prize will be awarded at Midsummer to the Matriculated Student who passes the best Examination in Divi- nity irrespective of the year to which he belongs No one can gain this Prize more than once -The Greek and Latin Classics Lectures dailv Saturday excepted from 10 20 to 11 40 11 45 to The subjects of these Lectures are the works of the best Latin and Greek writers and Greek and Latin Composition
