ΤίΙΕ SCHOOL 465 Ε Sralters1 Tmbersitp IMjibmon Founded by the Salters' Company of London and to be continued during the pleasure of the Court The Exhibition is of the value of £80 per annum and is enable for four years It will be awarded in accordance with the results of an xamination in Physical Geography Geology and Natural Science Mechanical Division as stated in the regulations the Oxford and Cambridge Schools Examination The next award will be made in July 1884 Candidates must not exceed nineteen years of age on July 15 of the year in which the Examination takes place and must lave been at least three academical years in theSehool If in the Examination the son of Freeman of the Walters' Company shall be found of equal merit with any ther Candidate such son of Freeman shall have the reference Each Exhibitioner must matriculate within twelve months after the award at Oxford Cambridge London or Durham ind failing his so doing the Exhibition will be forfeited and igain thrown open to competition Payment of the half-year's Exhibition due will be made on ipplication at the Clerk's office any day after the 8th of January and 8th of July in each year Before payment of the allowanee each half-year ificate must be produced to the Court of the Company roni the Tutor or other authority of the College to which he Exhibitioner belongs that he lias duly conformed to he regulations thereof In case the Exhibition is held at the University of London the several payments will be made only on the production 01 Jertiflcates or other proof of the Exhibitioner having passed he following Examinations viz The Matriculation Examination The First Examina- lion of Candidates for Degree The Final Examination or Degree
