CIVIL SERVICE CLASSES cessful in the previous competition will have returned to them the portion of their fee that is unexpired when the result is made known but fees are not returned in any other circumstances The Class meets on Wednesday Thursday and Saturday evenings from 45 to Students can attend on all three evenings fee for the course about twelve weeks £4 4s from the second admission £2 18 Or they can attend on Wednesdays and Saturdays only fee for the course £3 from the second admission £2 2s Students whose time is partially occupied are recommended to attend only on Wed- nesdays and Saturdays Students who have the whole of their time for preparation are recommended also to attend Class on Mondays where the collective instruction of the above class is supplemented by individual instruction This can be done by an additional payment of £2 28 ior the whofe course or £1 8s for the second part of the course This Class is particularly recom- mended in the case of those who are specially weak in Arithmetic and to those who have only short time for preparation The Secretary's office is always open for the receipt of fees from 10 till Saturdays 10 till and it is also kept open from till 45 on the opening day of each course and from till on the preceding day Intending students should if possible pay their fees before on the opening day Un- less this is done they are liable to be late in entering the Class Rooms Students joining this class should at least be acquainted with Vulgar and Decimal Fractions Proportion and Interest Those who are desirous of preparing for Man Clerkship and are not yet well acquainted with these Rules are recommended to attend Class or Class IV in the meantime The class is divided into sections On joining students are examined and placed in the Section which will give them the most effective help They are moved to higher Section as they are found qualified There is an Upper First Section ΤΛ
