418 CIVIL SERVICE CLASSES consult Mr Wood at King's College on any Monday or Thursday evening from 15 to 45 Fees for two lessons per week £2 12s 6d for six weeks or £4 14s 6d for twelve weeks Students whose time and scheme of work are limited can take one lesson per week for £1 15s for six weeks or £3 3s for twelve weeks Students preparing for or attending other classes in the Civil Service Department can join for courses of individual lessons in the work of those classes at the fate of 4s 6d per evening Students can join the Class on any Monday or Thursday evening and the period for which they join will be reckoned from their first evening Intending Students should communicate with Mr Wood Caen Terrace Hampstead Lane High gate to whom or to the Secretary King's College alt inquiries respecting this class must he addressed It MEtt CLERKSHIPS IN THE LOWER DIVISION OF THE CIVIL SERVtCEj SECOND CLASS CLERKSHIPS in the INDIA OFFICE and SECOND CLASS CLERKSHIPS AT CUSTOMS OUTPORTS mr braginton AND mr hinks Competitions for Men Clerkships generally including one or more Second Class Clerkships in the India Office are to be held three times year-in January May and Sep- tember The courses of Preparation for these Competitions will begin respectively in October February and June and will last about twelve weeks Students are strongly recommended to join the Class at the beginning of the course but there will be an admission five weeks later Studenlo joining the Class and proving sue-
