264 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 1879 Kealy John William Emerson Peter Henry 1880 Dent Herbert Crowley Boobbyer Philip 1881 Johnson Obadiah 1882 James Henry Daniel Dimmock Augustus Frederick 03larnefor& rt es These Prizes were founded by the Rev Dr Warneford for the encouragement of the study of Theology among the 'Matriculated Medical Students of King's College There are two Prizes the first consisting of medal of the value of ten pounds and books of the value of fifteen pounds the second consisting of medal of the value of five pounds ana books of the value of ten pounds The Candidates for these Prizes are examined in-1 Two of the branches of Medical Science taught in the College to be selected by the Candidates The Holy Scriptures But- ier's Analogy want of sufficient knowledge in the Medical part will disqualify for examination in the Theological All Candidates for either of these Prizes must produce Certificates of good conduct of regular attendance on the Divinity Lectures and Certificates of having passed two of the Terminal Examinations mentioned at page 232 Clause No one can be Candidate who has exceeded his fourth year of attendance at the Medical Lectures of the College and no Student who has obtained the first Prize in one year can be Candidate in any subsequent year The next Examination will take place on Friday and Saturday Oct and 1883 on the first day in Medicine on the second day in Diviniiy The names of all Candidates must be sent in writing to the Dean of the Medical Department before two o'clock on Monday October after which hoar no name will be received
