474 the school XVII iikacUar ψχίιζζ These prizes have been founded by the friends of the Rev George Frederick Maclear late Head Master in testimony of their personal regard and in remembrance of his long connexion with the School They consist of two prizes each of £5 in books to be awarded for the highest examination in Divinity in the Classical and Modern Divisions respectively These examinations take place in the Easter Term Names of Prizemen 1881 Blunt Herbert William Salmon Henry Thomas 1882 Withers Harry Livingston Bathurst Allen XVIII ANNUAL PRIZES -general rules It is distinctly to be understood that mis- conduct during any part of an academical year renders boy liable to forfeit any prize he may have obtained These Prizes cannot be gained by any boy during his first Term or more than once Certificates of having obtained Prize in King's College School made out under the signature of the Head-Master and Secretary may be obtained by application at the College Office Fee 2s 6d for each Certificate
