428 civil service classes Pees for two lessons per week £2 12s 6c for six weeks or £4 14s 6c for twelve weeks Students whose time and scheme of work are limited can take one lesson per week for £1 15s for six weeks or £3 3s for twelve weeks Students preparing for or attending other classes the Civil Service Department can join for six lessons attending once or twice week for £1 7s Intending Students should communicate with Mr Wood Caen Terrace Hampstead Lane High-gate to whom or to the Secretary King's College all inquiries respecting this class must be addressed II MEN CLERKSHIPS in the lower division מ of the civil service SECOND CLASS CLERKSHIPS in the INDIA OFFICE and SECOND CLASS CLERKSHIPS AT CUSTOMS OUTPORTS mr braginton and mr hinks Competitions for Men Clerkships generally including one or more Second Class Clerkships in the India Office are held every three months-about the middle of February May August and November The courses of Preparation for these Competitions begin respectively in or about the second week in December March June and September and last about nine or ten weeks Students are recommended to join the Class at the beginning of the course but they can join for the last six weeks only Students joining the Class and proving successful in the previous competition will have returned to them the portion of their fee that is unexpired when the result is made known The Class meets on Monday Wednesday and Saturday evenings from 45 to 15 Students can attend on all three evenings fee for the course nine or ten weeks £3 6s for
