Dean of the Department for 1882 Rev Professor Wiltshire Classes for Evening Instruction are held at King's Col- lege during the months from October to March inclusive and during the months of April May and June WINTER COURSE 1882-83 The Course for 1882 83 will commence on Monday October and terminate on Friday March 31 the last fortnight being devoted to examinations II On Friday October at PL there will be an opening Lecture in the large Hall of the College by the Rev Henry Wace Professor of Ecclesiastical History Subject George Herbert an example of the Christian the Gentleman the Scholar and the Englishman III On Sunday October at there will be special opening Service for Evening Class Students and their friends in the Chapel of the College The Sermon will be preached by the Rev Maclear Warden of St Augustine's College Canterbury IV The second half of the Winter Session will begin on Monday January 15 1883 II vacations There will be Vacation at Christmas commencing from after Friday December 22 Ascension Day Whit Monday the Queen's Birthday and the Prince of Wale Birthday are kept as Holidays
