MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 319 the Examinations shall include questions in Surgical and Medical Anatomy Pathological Anatomy and Pathological Chemistry Any Candidate who has passed this Examination may go in for Honours In Medicine Obstetric Medicine and Forensic Medicine Scholarship of the value of £50 per annum in Medicine for two years and Scholarships of the value of £30 per annum for two years in Obstetric Medicine and Forensic Medicine are awarded together with gold medals in each subject Bachelor of Surgery The Examination for this Degree takes place on the Tuesday following the first Monday in December in each year Fee £5 Certificates are required of having taken the Degree of and of having attended course of instruction in Operative Surgery and of having operated on the dead subject The Subjects are Surgical Anatomy and Surgical Operations Exami- nation and Report on Cases of Surgical Patients Performance of Surgical Operations upon the Dead Subject and Application of Surgical Apparatus Any Candidate who has passed this Examination may go in for Honours in Surgery during the following week Scholarship of the value of £50 per annum for two years and two Gold Medals are awarded Master in Surgery The Examination for this Degree commences on the first Monday in December in each year Fee £5 Certificates are required- Of having taken the Degree of Bachelor of Surgery in this University Of havingattendcd subsequently to having taken the Degree of Bachelor of Surgery in this University To Clinical or Practical Surgery during Two Years in Hospital 01 Medical Institution recognised by this University Or to Clinical or Practical Surgery during One Year in Hospital 01 Medical Institution recognised by this University and of having been engaged during Three Years in the Practice of his Profession Or of having been engaged during Five Years in the Practice of his Profession either before or after taking the Degree of Bachelor of Surgery in this University One year of attendance on Clinical or Practical Surgery or two years of Practice will be dispensed with in the case of those Candi dates who at the Examination have been placed in the First Division Of Moral Character signed by two persons of respectability Candidates will be examined in- Logic and Psychology Any Candidate who has already taken the Degree of in this University or of or Sc provided that Mental and Moral Science was one branch of his Examination is exempted from this part of the Examination And any Candidate who has passed For full Regulations see the London University Calendar
