120 THEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT sum of 250 for the purpose of founding Prize which should bear his name this sum lias been invested in London and North Western Kailway per cent Preference Stock The interest is given annually in two Prizes of Hc oks of the value of £6 and £4 respectively These Prizes are open to Matriculated Students of all Departments of the College who have been in attendance during any one of the preceding three terms Students of the Evening Classes are subject to special conditions for which see Evening Class Department Section XII No one can obtain either of these prizes twice but Junior Prizeman may compete for the Senior Prize in sub- sequent year if otherwise qualified No Prize will be given except for absolute merit Ttie next Examination will beheld on Saturday Octo- ft ber 14 1882 in the following subjects Psalms LXXIII -LXXX Joshua Chaps -X Scripture History to the death of David Hebrew Grammar Composition and Pointing Names of Candidates must be sent to the Secretary of the College before o'clock on Saturday October The subjects for October 1883 will be Deuteronomy -VIII Psalms XLII -LI Old Testament History from the death of David to the close Hebrew Grammar Composition and Pointing Names of Prizemen 1864 Hammond Joseph Wensley Edward Barnett 18G5 West William 1866 Moon Charles 18C7 Flecker Eliezer
