THE SCHOOL 445 In all Scholarships and Exhibitions in which the rules to payment require attendance at any College or Univer- ty continuous residence or attendance is required and if uch attendance be omitted in any Term or Session the cholarship or Exhibition will be forfeited unless the cholar or Exhibitioner notifies his absence with the causes aereof to the Council either beforehand or at the latest at 1e beginning of the Term he is intending to be absent and forwards certificate of sanction to such absence from the lead of his College or the proper University authority VI The payments for the Inglis Forest and Mathematical cholarships and for the Sambrooke Exhibitions are made Terminal instalments at the end of each Term beginning ith the Michaelmas Term after the election provided that 1e Scholar has entered either one of the Departments of Ling's College London or at the Universities of Oxford or ambrid2 within one vear of terminating his studies in the chool and has continued in regular attendance at such allege Certificate of Attendance and good conduct will required each Term from the Dean or Tutor VII The amount due may be applied for in the Secretary's ffice any day succeeding the second Friday in the months January April and August VIII Any Scholar desirous of obtaining Certificate of aving gained Scholarship may obtain the same from the ecretary on payment of the fee prescribed by the Council Englts Jpoun&atton Two Scholarships of £50 each are open annually to 1upils of the School for conditions see page 141 School Inglis י Scholarship of £20 open only to upils in the School is also awarded every year and is ayable in three Terminal instalments This Scholarship is open to all Pupils who have been
