436 the school ן No boy is allowed to absent himself from the Service without the special permission of the Head Master and this permission will only be given under exceptional circumstances The Hours of Attendance are- Mon Tues Thurs Fri from 30 o'clock to Wednesday Saturday 12 During the interval between Morning and Afternoon School all boys are expected to remain within the School precincts and on no account to go beyond them except in the case of those permitted to leave at the dinner hour for the purpose of dining with Parent or Guardian Applications for such permission must be made in writing to the Head Master and the permission must be renewed from Term to Term No boy is allowed to absent himself from School without the distinct permission of the Head Master except in the case of illness Boys absenting themselves from illness even for single morning or afternoon must bring note with them on their return stating the fact of their illness to the Master of their class If it is desired that boy should on any special occa- sion leave School before the usual hour or be excused atten- dance for any part of day or longer note to this effect must be sent to the Head Master who will if he approves give him an Exeat but no such Exeat will be given except after written application and the Council strongly object to such applications being made except under circumstances of unusual importance or of necessity 10 Every boy receiving such an Exeat is expected to bring it on his return to the Master by whom it has been signed 11 Letters addressed to boys in the School are recorded on Slate kept by the Gate-keeper and application must be
