medical department 283 Ms appointment produce certificate of moral character ο the satisfaction of the Committee of Management The viva voce examination shall be in Anatomy and Morbid Lnatomy the written examination in Materia Medica Toxico- ogy in the Practice of Medicine and in Midwifery The Physician's Assistant shall visit the medical wards laily between the hours of 10 and 12 15 o'clock in the norning accompany the Physician during his visit and rescribe under his direction shall see such patients in he evening as the Physician may think necessary and responsible for the proper treatment of the medical 3ases In the event of the death of any patient in the Medical Wards he shall send immediate notice to the Phvsician under whose care the patient was admitted and to the Pathological Registrar Assistant House Physician -The examination for this office is the same as that required for the office of Physician's Assistant This Officer will not reside in the Hospital He shall supply the place of the Physician's Assistant during his necessary absence and assist him when required except at such times as he is in attendance on the Physicians to the Out-Patients He shall make chemical and microscopical examinations and be responsible for all instruments and apparatus entrusted to his care He shall attend in the Out- Patient department at one o'clock daily and remain there until all the Out-Patients have been prescribed for shall occupy separate desk and see such patients as are allotted to him by the Physician in attendance Candidates must have served the office of Clinical Clerk to the Out-Patients but no Student is eligible to enter on the duties of this office at period later than five years and half from the time of his Matriculation or year of standing see page 237 in the Medical Department Candidates may be admitted to the examination before obtaining their diplomas but no one will be allowed to enter
