MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 269 he admission of any Student to be Candidate for Scholar- hip in this College and all Candidates must have complied vdth the General Rules laid down in the Calendar pages 85 -88 for the guidance of Matriculated Students Candidates for the Junior Scholarships are required to lave obtained certificate of regular attendance on the ivinity lectures and of having passed one of the Terminal ixaminations mentioned at page 219 Clause second ertificate will be required for the Second year or Senior Icholarship This Regulation shall not affect Students who have been xempted from attendance on those Lectures by the Prin- ipal but such Students shall be required to take up an dditional subject to be selected by him Every Scholarship is held subject to the condition laid own in Clause and subject to forfeiture for mis- onduct In case there should be no candidate of sufficient merit any year the Scholarship of that year will not be awarded Student preparing for the Preliminary Scientific -xamination at the University of London and not attending 1e Lectures on Anatomy or Physiology and not engaged in 1e Dissecting room during the first Winter and Summer essions will be admissible to examination for the Junior cholarships at the end of his second Winter and Summer essions and will in all respects rank as first year's man These Scholarships can be held only so long as the cholar continues to attend Lectures as Matriculated tudent in King's College See General Rules page 87 The payments for these Scholarships are made at the ad of each half of the Winter Session and at the end of the ummer Session beginning with the first half of the Winter ession after the election but only on production to the ecretary of Certificate of good conduct and satisfactory rogress in his studies signed by the Principal and Dean ispectively
