254 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT be held for three years subject to the provisions licr stated and as often as the Council has accumulated the sum of £50 by means of lapsed and forfeited Scholarships or of interest on the "Wabhefoiid King's College Sc'iioi aiiship99 funds in their possession an additional Scholarship of t'25 per annum for two years is given after due notice These Scholarships are open to all Matrieulated Students of the Medical Department at the commencement of their lirst Winter Session but anv Student who in his first ν car at King's College attends the Preliminary Scientific Course only and neither dissects nor attends Anatomy or Physio logy may compete for these Scholarships at the beginning of his second vear The following are the subjects of Kxamination Compulsory subjects Divinity English Literature and History Marks assigned Latin 100 to each subject Mathematics Optional subjects Candidates will he allowed to select one subject out of Group Λ and second out of group Λ or Greek Group French ίΛ Marks assigned 75 German י ם Chemist rv ן subjects chosen Group Natural Philosophy Dot any Any Candidate failing to obtain 50 marks in Divinity is thereby absolutely disqualified from further examination No Scholarship גג ill be awarded to any Candidate who does not obtain an aggregate of at least 300 marks if the payment is to continue for three vcars and of 250 mark if the payment is for two years only These Scholarships may be held for three years or in the case of the Extra Scholarships for two years provided for each of the two
