112 theological department plumptre prize JQ Prize of £3 in books will be given at the end of the Easter Term 1882 by the Rev Professor Plumptre for the best Essay in English on the Revised Version of the New Testament The Essay must not exceed twenty foolscap pages and is to be delivered to the Secretary before on Saturday June 10 The Prize is open to all Matriculated Theological Students in attendance during any part of the Academical Year 1881-2 XXI cla ss of candidates for admission to the theological department Morning Class This Class is conducted by Warr Professor and Gill Lecturer and is formed with view to preparation for the examination for admission into the Theological Department Students belonging to it attend the Elementary Classes in the General Literature Department between 10 and and receive further instruction in Special Class between and on all days of the week except Saturday The certificate of Professor Warr that thev have passed satisfactory examination in these Classical subjects will exempt Students from preparation of the Classical subjects given at page 92 for the Entrance Examination All Students of this Class are required to attend the Lectures and Examinations of the Principal and Chaplain on Wednesday and Saturday י Any person may enter this Class upon producing Cer- tificates of good moral character but no Candidate can continue in it more than three Terms without special leave from the Principal The Fees amount to 85 per Term which sum covers every expense except the Matriculation Fees which are 155 6άΛ
