THE SCHOOL 443 This Scholarship is open to all Pupils who have been three complete Terms in the School immediately preceding the Term in which the Examination is held and who were under eighteen years of age on the 1st of June preceding the Election This Scholarship is awarded as the result of the Examination at the close of the Easter Term in the regular Classical work ot the School including Divinity and in passages from the Greek and Latin Classics This Scholarship is tenable with an lnglis or Mathe- matical Scholarship No one can be elected to this Scholarship more than once Scholars elected on this Foundation are by the Will of the Founder to be called "Forest Scholars Names of Scholars 1867 Buckmaster Charles John 1868 Gow James 1869 Wix Ernest Newton 1870 Chase Frederick Henry 1871 Leupolt Albert Francis 1872 Woodd John Henry 1873 Gell Henry Willingham 1874 Tweedy George 1875 Pollard Alfred William 1876 Harvey William Morton 1877 Welch Edward Ashurst 1878 Pearson Alfred Chilton 1879 Long William Edward 1880 Blunt Herbert William gbambrooke IBx tbtiion An Exhibition of Ā£25 per annum for two years is given annually out of the interest derived from the legacy left to the College by the late Thomas Godfrey Sambrooke Esq "2 The Exhibition is awarded under the same rules and
