EVENING CLASSES 323 Buchheim's German Prose Composition will be used in both Divisions Facsimiles of German Commercial Letters will be lent to the Pupils in both Divisions to be read and translated at the Class in case some of the Students should wish to have practice in reading various German handwritings and in translating commercial letters into English and special assistance and advice will be given to those who may be desirous of obtaining thorough knowledge of German Com- mercial Correspondence with view of qualifying themselves as foreign Correspondents Those Students who wish to qualify themselves as Teachers of German will receive special assistance if joining any Division of the above advanced German Class The Professor will receive the written work of the Students of the Two Senior Divisions and explain the principal corrections partly in marginal notes and partly orally at the Class Elementary Class Division III to IV to Herr Reinicke Elements of Grammar and Exercises From to -Reading Lessing's Minna von Barnhelm Buchheim's Edition Buchheim's German Poetry99 for Repetition From to -Readings Buchheims "First German Reader The Professor will direct the Students as to which of the Divisions they should enter-in accordance with their degree of forwardness-and which particular Grammar and Dictionary they should select -A special Prize of £2 12s Gd in Books will be given at the close of the Winter Session by Theodore Carter Esq to the Student who shall most dis- tinguish himself in the Senior Class of German χ
