MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 303 section ii Professional Examinations There are three Professional Examinations called herein the First Examin- ation the Second Examination and the Third or Final Examination each being partly written partly oral and partly practical These Examinations will be held in the months of February April July October and December unless otherwise appointed The First Examination The subjects of the First Examination are Chemistry and Chemical Physics meaning thereby Heat Light and Electricity Materia Medica Medical Botany and Pharmacy Osteology Schedules indicating the range of subjects in the Examinations in Chemistry and in Materia Medica Medical Botany and Pharmacy maybe obtained together with the Regulations Candidate will be admitted to the First Examination on producing evidence of having been registered as Medical Student by the General Medical Council and of having complied with the Regulations prescribed in Section Clauses and page 301 The Fee for admi3sion to the First Examination is Five Guineas being part of the entire Fee for the Licence and if Candidate be rejected he will be required to pay an additional Fee of Three Guineas before re-admission to the Examination Candidate rejected in the First Examination will not be re-admitted to Examination until after the lapse of three months from the date of rejection First Professional Examinations of Candidates for the College Licence will take place commencing as follows 1880 Monday October Monday December 1881 Monday February Monday April Monday July Monday October Monday December The Second Examination The subjects of the Second Examination are Anatomy Physiology Schedule indicating the range of Subjects in the Examination in Physio- logy may be obtained with the Regulations Candidate will be admitted to the Seoond Examination on producing evidence of having passed the First Examination of having completed subse- quently to registration as Medical Student eighteen months of Professional
