MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 257 1871 White Ernest William 1872 Fowler James 1880 James Henry Daniel This Scholarship was founded in honour of the late Daniell Esq Professor of Chemistry in this College Its object is to encourage the prosecution of original research in Chemistry This Scholarship is of the annual value of 20 and is tenable for two years It is given every year and is open to every Student of the College whether matriculated or occasional It is awarded to the Student who shall have executed the best series of researches in the Laboratory of King's College during the two years immediately preceding the election for six months of which time he must have been pupil in the Laboratorv The next Scholarship will be awarded at Easter 1881 The Papers of all Candidates must be placed in the hands of the Secretary by two o'clock on Saturday March 26 1881 after which time no document will be received Names of Scholars 1870 Letts Edmund Albert 1874 Johnson George Stillingfleet 1875 Newton Alfred Howard Vincent 1879 Menke Albert Ernest 1880 McMillan Walter George Two Exhibitions are given annually 0n3 of £60 and me of £40 out of the interest accruing from the legacy left the College by the late Thomas Godfrey Sambrooke Esq
