APPLIED SCIENCES 173 These Lessons are intended for those Students who have completed six Terms in this Department but those of the first or second year may by permission of the Dean attend on payment of fee of 3$ per Term glass house has been erected and in connexion with it Laboratory for the preparation of Photographic chemicals in addition to the regular Lectures to the Matriculated Students in this Department Private Instruction is also given in theoretical and practical Photography to such gentlemen as may wish to avail themselves of the Lecturer's services The fee for private instruction for the Course is 61 55 inclusive of Chemicals the number of lessons being regu- lated as under Student lessons of hours each Students- Students-10 Students-12 לל יל יל יל לל לי For fee of 13 0s private Student is entitled to attend- ance at Lectures and to the use of chemicals apparatus &c for three terms 12 Practical Fine Art Established by aid of the City and Ghiilds Institute The Classes in Practical Fine Art are open to Students in the morning from 10 to o'clock every day On Tuesday at 11 there is Lecture accompanied by illustrations on some branch of the Art of Design special class for Ladies to include both lectures on Art and practical instruction in Drawing and Painting is held every Saturday from 10 to Individual Instruction is given to Students in various branches of Fine Art such as Drawing from the Flat and from the Antique Monochrome Drawing on Wood Painting on China Etching the application of Plant and other Natural forms to Decoration and General Designing
