THEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT 91 XIV TRENCH GREEK TESTAMENT PRIZE The former Pupils and Friends of the Right Reverend Richard Chenevix Trench having presented to the College the sum of 156 the same has been invested in London and North Western Railway per cent Debenture Stock The interest is given annually in one Prize of Books The Prize is open to Matriculated Students of all Departments of the College who have been in attendance during any one of the three preceding terms Students of the Evening Class Department are subject to special conditions for which see Evening Class Department Section XII No one can obtain this Prize twice and no Prize will be given except for absolute merit The next Examination will be held on Saturday April 24 1880 in the following subjects viz Preliminary Passages from the New Testament for translation with Grammatical Questions II The Gospel according to St John The 1st and 2nd Epistles to Timothy Winer's New Test Grammar Part Sect XLVII -LII Lightfoot's Revision of the New Testament Westcott's Canon of the New Testament Ch -III Trench on the Miracles Preliminary Essay and Miracles 1-12 Names of Candidates must be sent to the Secretary of the College before o'clock on Saturday April 17 1880
