THEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT 87 VII terms The Academical Year consists of Three Terms viz Michaelmas Term beginning Thursday October 1879 Lent Term beginning Thursday January 15 1880 Easter Term beginning Thursday April 15 1880 VIII THE UNIVERSITY OF DURHAM By recent regulation of this University Theological Students who have completed their term of study passed all their examinations and obtained their Testamur at King's College London may obtain the degree of at Durham by residing three terms there and passing the Final Exami- nation in Arts φ It is not necessary that the three terms should be kept consecutively Clerical Students absent from Durham on Sunday in Term- time in order to take duty are allowed to count the Sunday as day of residence The subjects for the Final Examination and other parti- culars may be obtained from the Proctors of the University Students admitted from the Theological Colleges which are in connection with this University are entitled to compete for one £30 Foundation Scholarship offered annually in October and for the Gisborne" £30 Scholarship offered annually in January Each is tenable for year IX FEES For Matriculated Students those attending the full prescribed Course CLASS ALL ASSOCIATES CLASS Morning Division £10 10 £10 10 £12 12 per Term Evening Division per Term II The Matriculation Fees are £4 15s 6d This sum is reduced to £2 14s 6d in the case of those who have already Matriculated in the Evening Class Department
