GENEEAL AEEANGEMENTS FOE THE ACADEMICAL YEAE 1879-80 -The Terms in the Theological General Literature and Applied Sciences Departments are as follows Michaelmas Term Oct to Dec 23 1879 Lent Term Jan 15 to March 24 1880 Easter Term April 15 to July 1880 -New Students are admitted one day previously to the above dates unless it be otherwise specified -In the Medical Department- Winter Session Oct 1879 to Mar 23 1880 Summer Session May to July 24 1880 -In the Evening Classes- 1st Half Oct to Dec 19 1879 2d Half Jan 19 to Mar 24 1880 Summer Session April 19 to June 29 1880 Winter Session -In the School- Michaelmas Term Sept 24 to Dec 17 1879 Lent Term Jan 14 to April 14 1880 Easter Term May to July 28 1880 -New pupils are admitted on the preceding day Shrove Tuesday Ascension Day Whitsun Monday the Queen's Birthday and the Prince of Wales's Birthday are kept as Holidays
