468 king's college union society duplicate key of each box and drawer is kept by the Secretary VI No duplicate key is allowed to be made under any cir- cumstances by Student VII In the event of any Student losing his key he will be required to pay 2s id for new lock broken key will be replaced at cost price if brought to the Secretary's office VIII In order more effectually to protect the property of Students no other boxes or drawers except those provided by the College are permitted to be used KING'S COLLEGE UNION SOCIETY Patrons the kev the principal the rev professor mayor KJL The chief objects of the Society are to hold debates to provide newspapers periodicals and writing materials for the use of its members The debates are held every Wednesday at when literary political and historical subjects are discussed public evening debate is held annually The Society is open to Students of all Departments of the College Every applicant for membership must be proposed by member the new member and his proposer signing their names in book kept for that purpose The subscription is 3s 6d per term or 10s per annum The affairs of the Society are managed by Committee of fifteen elected terminally from amongst its members
