THE SCHOOL 415 In all Scholarships and Exhibitions in which the rules as to payment require attendance at any College or Univer- sity continuous residence or attendance is required and if such attendance be omitted in any Term or Session the Scholarship or Exhibition will be forfeited unless the Scholar or Exhibitioner notifies his absence with the causes thereof to the Council either beforehand or at the latest at the beginning of the Term he is intending to be absent and forwards certificate of sanction to such absence from the Head of his College or the proper University authority VI The payments for the Inglis Forest and Mathematical Scholarships are made in Terminal instalments at the end of each Term beginning with the Michaelmas Term after the election provided that the Scholar has entered either one of the Departments of King's College London or at the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge within one year of terminating his studies in the School and has continued in regular attendance at such College Certificate of Attendance and good conduct will be required each Term from the Dean or Tutor VII The amount due maybe applied for in the Secretary's office any day succeeding the second Friday in the months of January April and August VIII Any Scholar desirous of obtaining Certificate of having gained Scholarship may obtain the same from the Secretary on payment of the fee prescribed by the Council Enctlts jpouniJaifon Two Scholarships of £50 each are open annually to Pupils of the School for conditions see page 123 School Inglis Scholarship of £20 open only to Pupils in the School is also awarded every year and is payable in three Terminal instalments This Scholarship is open to all Pupils who have been three complete Terms in the School immediately preceding
