SCHOOL OF PRACTICAL ART 353 -Practical application of Art and Design The Practice will consist of Exercises with individual instruction in Drawing on Wood on Stone on Copper Etching Engraving Drawing and Painting on Porcelain Modelling Designing Wall and Furniture Decorations Details of Decorative Construction generally and the general applica- cation of Ornament to various materials and manufactures Occasional Lectures will he given in the Elementary Division as required on Freehand Drawing and Model Drawing with Illustrations Regular Lectures will be given on Plane Geometry Solid Geometry and Perspective Machine Construction and Building Construction with Illustrations The Classes will be open from to on Monday Wednesday and Friday Evenings The Year will be divided into Terms of about 13 Weeks each The fees will be £2 12s 6d for Year of which £1 lis 6d will be payable on October and £1 Is on May Tickets for Single Terms will be £1 Is each and will be payable on the 1st of October January and May Members of the Class who produce evidence of being eligible to rank as Students of the Industrial Classes as defined by the Science and Art Department will be charged 12s Term with an Entrance Fee of 5s on first joining The Classes will be closed during the Months of August and September for Fortnight at Christmas and for Fortnight at Easter or Whitsuntide according to the Season The Science and Art Examinations are in May of each Year The College Examinations at the end of July
