242 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT Bam'cII Scholarship This Scholarship was founded in honour of the late Daniell Esq Professor of Chemistry in this College Its object is to encourage the prosecution of original research in Chemistry This Scholarship is of the annual value of 20 and is tenable for two years It is given every year and is open to every Student of the College whether matriculated or occasional It is awarded to the Student who shall have executed the best series of researches in the Laboratory of King's College during the two years immediately preceding the election for six months of which time he must have been pupil in the Laboratory The next Scholarship will be awarded at Easter 1880 The Papers of all Candidates must be placed in the hands of the Secretary by four o'clock on Saturday March 20 1880 after which time no document will be received Names of Scholars 1870 Letts Edmund Albert 1874 Johnson George Stillingfleet 1875 Newton Alfred Howard Vincent 1879 Menki Albert Ernest XVIII Sambroofce Jflrttcal an& Surgical Ucgistrarships These ReyUtrarships teere founded Hay 1867 iy Thomas Godfrey Sambeooke Esq of 32 Eaton Place In the hope of benefiting and with the desire of in- creasing the usefulness of that most admirable institution King's College London with the Hospital in intimate con- nexion therewith in the which have always taken and continue to feel so deep an interest as well as with view to the advancement and adding to the general usefulness of Medical Science
