80 theological department No Student of the Classes Β and can be admitted to the Morning Division under 21 years of age or to the Evening Division under 20 years of age except by the express permission of the Principal Students are admitted in October January and April of each year but entry in October or January is strongly re- commended and of these times the former is to be preferred Seven days before the entrance examination Candidates for admission must send in to the Principal on printed form to be obtained from the Secretary of the College an applica- tion stating their age and other circumstances and adding Certificate of good moral and religious character from the Clergyman of their parish or of the church which they have usually attended as well as the names of one or more friends to whom the Candidate is well known as referees Previously to Matriculation each Student must subscribe the Thirty-nine Articles of Religion as well as declaration that he will conform to all the rules and regulations of the College III rules as to graduates Graduates in Arts of all British Universities Having produced evidence of their Degree £ Having passed satisfactorily an examination equi- valent to that required of other Students at the close of their first year viz in General Knowledge of Holy Scripture The Acts and Catholic Epistles in Greek General History of Articles and Prayer Book Hooker Book Pearson Article -III are admitted as Matriculated Students and may obtain the Theological Testamur and Associate ship of the College after three Academical Terms on duly passing the Final Examination
