THEOLOGICAL CLASSES 349 Students who attend this Evening Course for two years terms and pass the Examinations satisfactorily are then entitled to enter the Morning Classes and at the end of one year's terms further study to present themselves for the Theoloeical Testamur which is accepted by the Bishops as qualification for Candidature for Holy Orders It is to be distinctly understood that this Testamur can in no case be gained without one year terms spent in the Morning Classes The hours of the Classes are as follows The fees for the Evening Course are £6 6s per term or £5 5s in the case of Associates of any Department of the College together with £4 5s 6d entrance fees This latter sum is reduced to £2 14s 6d in the case of those who have already Matriculated in the Evening Class Department The fees payable during the last three terms for the Morning Course are £12 12s per term or £10 10s in the case of Associates of any Department of the College No one can be admitted to this Division of the Theological Department under twenty years of age unless by special permission of the Principal The Entrance Examinations will take place three times each year viz in October January and after Easier but entry in October or January is strongly recommended and of these the former is to be preferred The following will be the subjects of the Entrance Exami- nations in 1878-9 The Gospels according to St Mark and St Luke in Greek General Scripture History The Church Catechism with Explanations Monriay 7-9 Tuesday 7-9 Wednesday 6-7 Latin Old Testament and Hebrew Vocal Music Dogmatic Theology Public Reading Greek Testament Ecclesiastical History Prayer Book ο-ע Thursday 7-9 Friday 7-8 7- 8- 8-9
