MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 213 VI REGISTRATION PRELIMINARY ARTS EXAMINATION Every Medical Student is required to register the com- meticement of his professional studies at the Office of the General Medical Council but no Student is allowed to register unless he produce Certificate of having passed weliminary Examination in Aria Amongst the Arts Exa- minations recognised for this purpose are the Matriculation Examination of the University of London and the Special Arts Examinations periodically held at the Apothecaries' Society and by the College of Preceptors at the Royal College of Surgeons of England The Matriculation Examination at the University of London takes place twice year commencing on the Second Monday in January and the last Monday in June respectively Arts Examinations are held by the College of Surgeons in March and September and those of the Apothecaries' Society take place three times year viz on the last Friday and Saturday in the months of January April and September VII -UNIVERSITY OF LONDON -PRELIMINARY SCIENTIFIC EXAMINATION All Students preparing for this Examination are strongly recommended as advised by the University of London to devote the previous Winter and Summer Sessions to study for that purpose II The following is the Course recommended for Msdical Students of this College
