MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 209 This Hospital is entirely supported by voluntary contribn- tions Subscriptions and Donations will be thankfully received by the Secretary at the Hospital by the Treasurer Charles Hoare Esq 37 Fleet Street by Cunningham Esq Κing's College and by Messrs Twining Co Messrs Coutts Co Messrs Drummond Messrs Williams Deacon Co All Donors of Thirty Guineas in one sum or by three annual instalments and all Subscribers of Three Guineas per annum are Governors for life 26 Demonstrations on the Operations op Operative Surgery These are given by the Professor of Surgery and the As- Sistant Surgeons Course especially adapted for Candidates for the Public Services for Degrees in Surgery and for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons may also be obtained Each pupil is provided with those parts of the subject which are necessary for doing the operations himself under the superintendence of the Demonstrator who will explain and illustrate the steps of each operation and the relative anatomy of the parts concerned Fee for the Course 61 6s without instruments if instru- ments are provided for the use of Students there will be an extra charge of Ten Shillings III museums The Museums consist of Collections of objects illustrative of every department of Anatomy Human and Comparative Healthy and Morbid of Materia Medica Botany Chemistry Toxicology Mineralogy Geology and other branches of Natural History also of Collections of Diagrams amounting to upwards of 000 in number for illustrating the Lectures on these various subjects ο
