GENERAL LITERATURE AND SCIENCE 109 -French and German Lectures are given- In French on Monday and Thursday Senior Class from 15 to 15 Junior Class from 15 to 15 In German on Tuesday and Friday Senior Class from 15 to 15 Junior Class from 15 to 15 II At the examination in June Prize of Books and Certificate of Honour are subject to the conditions contained in Rule for Prizes in Classical Literature given to the first and second Students respectively in the First Division of each of these subjects and Prize and Certificate of Approval to the Srst and second Students respectively in the Second Division III The Professor of German gives each year Prize to that Student who has most distinguished himself in German during the Academical Year by steady work and attention 10 -Geology Michaelmas Lent and Easter Term Saturday from 11 30 to 12 30 This Course is given in order to instruct the Students in the principles of Geology In the Michaelmas Term the Lectures will have reference to Dynamical Geology in the Lent Term to Palaeontology and in the Easter Term to Stratigraphical Geology There will be Field Lecture in the Easter Term The Course will be illustrated by diagrams and specimens
