92 THEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT provided that they send to the Principal the name and address of some clergyman who is willing to undertake the responsi- bility of superintending the Examination No Studentship will be given unless the Examination is passed with credit and choice between various Candidates will be determined by excellence in the Examination The continuance of the Studentship will be conditional on the terminal certificate of the Principal to the good conduct and diligence of the Student XII THE ASSOCIATESHIP All Students of this Department who have passed their final examination and have received their Certificates are eligible by the Council as Associates of King's College London The privileges of Associates are perpetual free admis sion to all Lectures forming tbe regular Matriculated-Students' Course in this Department the use of the Libraries and Museums under the regulations which apply to Students and the liberty of dining at the High Table in tbe College Hall XIII HOODS Under the special sanction dated March 26 1862 ot his Grace the late Archbishop of Canterbury permission to wear distinctive Hood is given subject in each case to the Principal's written approval to Associates of this Department only Forms of application for permission to wear the Hood may be obtained from the Secretary The names of those Associates who have obtained the Principal's permission to wear ihe King's College Hood are marked with Η in tbe list of Associates
