GENERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE ACADEMICAL YEAR 1877-78 -The Terms in the Theological General Literature and Applied Sciences Departments are as follows Michaelmas Term Oct to Dec 20 1877 Lent Term Jan 17 to April 11 1878 Easter Term April 25 to July 1878 -New Students are admitted one day previously to the above dates unless it be otherwise specified -In the Medical Department- Winter Session Oct 1877 to Mar 30 1878 Summer Session May to July 27 1878 -In the Evening Classes- 1st Half Oct to Dec 21 1877 Winter Session Half Jan 21 tQ 1878 29 Summer Session April 29 to July 1878 -In the School- Michaelmas Term Sept 19 to Dec 19 1877 Lent Term Jan 16 to April 10 1878 Easter Term May to July 31 1878 -New pupils are admitted on the preceding day Ascension Day Whit Monday the Queen's Birthday and the Prince of Wales's Birthday are kept as Holidays
