MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 227 two of the Terminal Examinations mentioned in Section Clause No one can be Candidate who has exceeded his fourth year of attendance at the Medical Lectures of the College and no Student who has obtained the first Prize in one year can be Candidate in any subsequent year The next Examination will take place on Friday and Saturday Oct and 1877 on the first day in Medicine on the second day in Divinity The names of all Candidates must be sent in writing to the Dean of the Medical Department before two o'clock on Monday October 1877 after which hour no name will be received The subjects for the Divinity part of this Examination in 1877 will be- Old Testament History from the Exodus till the death of Samuel The Epistle to the Hebrews and the Pastoral Epistles Butler's Analogy Introduction and Part II The subjects for the Divinity part of this Examination in 1878 will be- Old Testament History from the accession of Saul to the death of Solomon The Acts of the Apostles and the Epistles of St Peter Butler's Analogy Introduction and Part This Prize has been founded by the friends of the lata Robert Bentley Todd for the encouragement of those attending the Medical Clinical Lectures at King's College Hospital The Prize consists of Bronze Medal and 41 4s in books and is awarded annually to the most deserving of the third or fourth year students
