MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 223 Clinical Instruction in the Diseases of Women and Children is given in the Wards and in the Form of Lectures upon the cases by the Physician Accoucheur and in the Out-patient Department by the Assistant-Physician Accoucheur large number of labours are attended annually by the Students under the superintendence of the Physicians of the Obstetric Department Special Ward has been appropriated to the reception of Children Practical Instruction in Dental Surgery is given three times week by the Dental Surgeon and Clinical Lectures on Dental Surgery are delivered in the Hospital during the Winter Session Clinical Instruction in Diseases of the Eye and Ophthal- moscopic Demonstrations are given in the Wards and in the Out-Patient Department of the Hospital by the Ophthalmic Surgeon Beds are specially appropriated to the reception or eye cases Clinical Lectures upon Ophthalmology are also given in the Theatre of the Hospital once week during the Winter Session Clinical Instruction in Aural Surgery is given in the Out- Patient Department by Dr Pritchard Clinical Instruction in Diseases of the Throat and Laryngo- scopic Demonstrations are given every Thursday at o'clock by Dr Ferrier Skin Diseases -Clinical Instruction in these Diseases is given in the Out-Patient Department of the Hospital by Dr Duffin Demonstrations on Skin Diseases are also given by Dr Duffin every alternate Tuesday Morbid Anatomy -Demonstrations and Practical Instruction in Morbid Anatomy are given by the Physicians Surgeons and Pathological Registrar in the Post-mortem Theatre of the Hospital Vaccination -Arrangements have been made by which Students may have Practical Instruction and Certificates in accination by the payment of small fee Medical Chemistry and the Microscope -Special Instruction is given in these subjects in the Wards of the Hospital and in the Theatre by the Physicians
