MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 213 They alone can hold the offices of- Physician's Assistant Physician Accoucheur's Assistant House Surgeon see to Clause headed Resident Medical Officers page 224 Assistant House Physician Assistant House Surgeon Assistant House Accoucheur Clinical Clerks Dressers Students who come to King's College from other Medical Schools and take the whole of their remaining education at King's College are also allowed to Matriculate They will not however be permitted to compete for the Scholarships or for the Warneford Leathes Jelf Todd Tanner and other Endowed Prizes nor can they hold Hospital Appointments unless they have paid the full amount of fees required for admission to the three years' course at the Hospital Each Candidate for Matriculation must produce testi- monial of good moral character and when admitted by the Principal must subscribe his name to Declaration that he will conform to all such Rules and Regulations as may from time to time be made for the good government of the College under the sanction aud authoritv of the Council II Occasional Students or those who enter to one or more particular Classes Every Class is open to such Students on payment of the prescribed amount of fees see page 217 They have the privilege of competing for Class Prizes and Certificates The regular Course of Instruction in this Department occu- pies either three or four years according to particular circum- stances See Section IX The year is divided into two Sessions The Winter Session beginning October 1st terminates at the end of March
