medical department 207 25 Demonstrations on the Operations op Surgery These are given by the Professor of Surgery and the As- sistant Surgeons Course especially adapted for Candidates for the Army Navy and Indian Medical Appointments and for the Fellow- ship of the Royal College of Surgeons may also be obtained Each pupil is provided with those parts of the subject which are necessary for doing the operations himself under the superintendence of the Assist Surgeon or Demonstrator who will explain and illustrate the steps of each operation and the relative anatomy of the parts concerned Fee for the Course 61 6s without instruments if instru- ments are provided for the use of Students there will be an extra charge of Ten Shillings Course of Bandaging and the Use of Surgical Appliances is also given by the Professor in which the mechanical treat- ment of Fractures is practically exemplified and each pupil applies the different kinds of Bandages and Surgical Ap paratus with his own hands III museums The Museums consist of Collections of objects illustrative of every department of Anatomy Human and Comparative Healthy and Morbid of Materia Medica Botany Chemistry Toxicology Mineralogy Geology and other branches of Natural History also of Collections of Diagrams amounting to upwards of 000 in number for illustrating the Lecture on these various subjects
