APPLIED SCIENCES VI jfreake anil otljcr Entrance Exhibitions One Exhibition of 20 will be given in October 1877 by Charles John Freake Esq to the Student who passes the best Examination on entering this Department at that time The subjects of Examination will be- Mathematics Arithmetic Algebra and Plane Trigonometry Euclid Geometrical Conies and the easier parts of Analytical Geometry Elementary Mechanics and Physics Inorganic Chemistry Two College Exhibitions of 15 each and two of 10 each tenable for one year will be given in October 1877 to the Students who next to the Freake Exhibitioner pass the best Examination on entering the College at that time Subjects of Examination- Arithmetic Algebra Plane Trigonometry Euclid The Examination will begin on Wednesday October at 10 These Exhibitions will be payable in equal instalments at the end of each of the Student's first six Terms at King's College London provided he produces to the Secretary at the end of each Term Certificate of good conduct and satisfactory progress signed respectively by the Principal and Dean Science ExI it t' ion GIVEN BY THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF CLOTHWORKERS One Exhibition of 50 year for two years is awarded each October
