9S theological department XVIII leitner prize An Annual Prize of five pounds is given by Leitner Esq Ph one of the Honorary Fellows of the College "in memory of the scholarship and philanthropic labours of the late Leitner Esq for an "Essay on Messianic Prophecies The Prize is open to Matriculated Students of all Departments of the College who are attending the Hebrew Classes Essays are to be sent to the Secretary of the College on or before Wednesday May 29 1878 Names of Prizemen 1871 Kroenig Joshua Charles Solomon 1872 Boag Frederick 1873 Gillespie Charles George Knox 1874 Gillespie Charles George Knox 1876 Hands Alfred Watson 1877 Hyde Henry Barry XIX class of candidates for admission to the theological department Morning Class This Class is cenducted by Rev Mayor MA Professor and Warr Lecturer and is formed with view to preparation for the examination for admission into the Theological Department Students belonging to it attend the Elementary Classes in the General Literature Department between 10 and and receive further instruction in Special Class between and on all days of the week except Saturday The Classical subjects prepared in the General Literature Department will be accepted for examination in lieu of those given on page 80 All Students of this Class are required to attend the Lectures and Examinations of tbe Principal and Chaplain on Wednesday and Saturday
