so theological department IV general rules as to examinations and certificates The regular course of instruction for Non-graduates requires an attendance either of six terms two years in the Morning Classes or of six terms two years in the Evening Classes followed by three terms one year in the Morning Classes The Final Certificate will only be given to those who have attended regularly and passed the following examina- tion3 -Entrance Examination Each Student unless he be an Associate in the Department of General Literature and Science at his entrance will be examined in- The Gospels according to St Mark and St Luke in Greek General Scripture History The Church Catechism with Explanations Cicero de Officiis Book Virg JEn Xenophon Anabasis Book Greek and Latin Grammar For the Latin and Greek subjects any books of correspond- ing length and difficulty may be substituted at the choice of the Candidate by previous notice to the Principal The days fixed for this examination in the Academical Year 1876-77 are Tuesday October Tuesday January 16 and Tuesday April 17 -Second Examination In the course or at the close of his first year or second year in the cases of those who have been attending the Evening Course each Student will be required to pass an examination in the following subjects
